SOPHOMORE FOOTBALL The 1981 Laguna Hills High Sophomore Football team, or Merlins, had a memorable season. Lead by Coach Ray Fike and by Coach Mike Taylor, the team went through the summer practicing hard to be ready for the season ' s games. As the season came to a close, the mighty Merlins finished with a 5 win — 5 loss record. This put them into a third posi- tion for the year. Through them the team achieved, and fought their way into a third position slot for the season with a 4 win and 6 loss record. FIRST ROW: Paul Morris, J. C.
