HilHHi ♦ ■ On the star filled night of January 16th, the Winter Lights seemed to be shining the brightest in a lux- urious ballroom at the South Coast Plaza Hotel. With ladies in elegant gowns and men in formal tuxedos, couples shared a wonderful evening at the Winter Formal of 1982. The band was City Lights and when they played, the room seemed to fill with dancers and a glorious memory was underway. (Sigh!) Time drifted on, and the announcing of the court brought happy smiles to a new King and Queen, Danny Blanck and Lisa Pike. The 1981 winter formal Queen, Cindy Robertshaw stepped down from her throne as Lisa ' s reign as queen began. Memories were shared and the winter lights seemed to shine bright even after the evening was over. The court: Sophomore Prince James Rusin and Princess Colleen Gavin, Junior Prince Mark Turgeon and Princess Noelle Wheeler, Senior Prince Brent Chappell, 1981 Queen Cindy Robertshaw, 1982 Queen Lisa Pike and King Dan Blanck, Senior Princess Chris Young, and Senior Prince Shawn Taggart, Freshman Princess Cindy Scelsa and Prince Richard Brenneis.
