John Belushi would have been truly proud of this glorious day. Let it be pro- claimed throughout the land that the juniors were vic- torious over spirit week. 1920 ' i The class of 1984 showed tremendous spirit and enthusiasm when the 1981-82 sophomore dress up day rolled around. Teri Austin and Ross Caouette showed us what the well-dressed flappers and gangsters were wearing this year at Laguna Hills, when they won the costume contest. All day the spirit of the ' 20 ' s came roaring through, and then during break the costumed sophomores par- ticipated ina variety of activities. Dave Price, cleaned up at the ice cream feed, when he showed the spectators just who the king of ice cream eaters was. Among the other events was a water pistol relay, and a Charleston contest. As the day end- ed, all the gangsters and all the flappers returned home and retired their outfits to the attic to prepare for another day at LHHS.
