A WE. 41 The Senior Chorus, for grades 9-12, is made up of all the studentswho have any desire to sing. One needs no previous knowledge of music or special training. lt is organized to promote group singing and en- joyment that can be had from music. The group is made up of 4-part voices Y' alto, soprano, tenor, and bass. This year a large number of boys have been added to the tenor and bass sections of the chorus. Various types of arrangements are sung, ranging from religious pieces to medleys from Broadway shows, Negro spirituals and radio selec- tions. Miss Payne, with her inexhaustible patience, has contrived to make an outstanding high school chorus. At various times during the school year, functions are put on for the public. 66
