Teachers' meeting and Belmont County Fair. Annual ads collected by Seniors. Senior boys' pictures taken. Senior girls' pictures taken. Outdoor court finished. Senior play books passed out. Started work on first school paper. Deadlinevfor annual ads--5477. Senior play parts announced . Senior play practice begins. OCTOBER School paper sold and Senior Hayride Mr. Albanese elected Superintendent of Union Local School District. Aptitude tests taken by Seniors. Colored school pictures taken. Senior Play Matinee. Senior Play--Profit S70 and class party. Basketball raffle--595. Seniors ordered invitations and name cards. No school--Teachers' meeting. Cheerleaders appointed. Seniors ordered l20 annuals. Thanksgiving vacation begins. DECEMBER Every pupil tests taken. Mr. Paytash wasn't here today. School pictures received. Junior Play Matinee. Senior girls got Christmas tree. Junior Play--Profit 544. Senior room decorated for Christmas. School paper--Christmas Issue. Christmas party and vacation begins. Holiday Tournament--Lafferty 50 and Sarahsville 90. Holiday Tournament--Lafferty 52 and Belmont 69. JANUARY Back to work again. National Studio--every pupil pictures. Group pictures-- Ferren Studio. General Senior Scholarship test-- Rosemary, Deanna, and Maxine. First semester ends. Mr. Covert resigns to complete his Masters at Ohio University. Mr. Melchiori resigns to become Personnel Director, Division ll. Mr. Bittengle arrives to take over Mr. Covert's classes. FE BRUARY Mr. Tannous arrives to take over Mr. Melchiori's classes.
