Principalfs Mcssagc To the young men and women of Latferty High School: Our seniors graduating in i959 will be the last class to graduate from Lafferty High School. Those of us who have been closely associated with the school as administrators, teachers, patrons or students can certainly take great pride in the many graduates of this school who set high standards and ideals for themselves, who worked hard, and are now good representatives of Lafferty High School. The hard work and progressive attitude of the citizens in our school district has culminated in the erection of the new Union Local High School with modern facilities and promise of better ed- ucational opportunities for our youngsters. Let us hope that the modern tools for education provided by the new school will be used by the students to fashion products that will meet the highest standards of vocational, societal, and citizenship requirements.
