There were twenty-one members who took part in music. They were: Colleen Holland, Carole Oberdier, Cleola Zimmer- man, Jane Countryman, Marcia Cotner, Barbara Kersker, Gloria Mortimer, Phyllis Sampson, Mary Alice Fetter, Lorraine Long meier, Chestine Stashwick, Donald BQyd,Dale Stevens, Leonard Klingler, Dick Vermillion, Jim Staver, Gilbert Long, Dean Nichols, Tom Martin, Buddy Long, Bill Peterson, and Edward Inskeep The senior year activities began with Marcia Davis, and her attendant Juanita Gray reigning over the Homecoming festivities in October The football players receiving let ters or bars at the football banquet sponsored by the senior girls were Roger Mowery, Dewey Shaffer, Edd Rex, John Kline, Wilbur Sumney and Dennis Rex Senior girls serving as Var sity Cheerleaders were Shirley Aldrich, three years, Carole Oberdier, one year Luella Reinhart, Edward Inskeep, Donald Boyd, Lorraine Longmeier, Cleola Zimmerman, Carole Oberdler, Juanita Gray, and Roger Mowery were selected totake the Senior Scholarship tests in February, while Buddy Long and Gilbert Long took the state agriculture test The class officers for this year were Roger Mowery, president, Buddy Long, vice president, Juanita Gray, secre tary, Edward Inskeep, treasurer,and Phyllis Sampson, student council representative Shirley Aldrich and Lorraine Long meier served as president and vice oresident resoectively of G A A during their senior year Students elected to the Ethan Allen Honor Society were Cleola Zimmerman, Chestine Stashwick, Phyllis Sampson, Roger Mowery, Carole Oberdier, Lorraine Longmeier, Gilbert Long, Edward Inskeep, Marcia Cotner, Donald Boyd Those selected Lorraine Longmeier, Chestine Stashwick, Roger Mowery, Jim Staver, Dale Stevens, Carole Oberdier, Gilbert Long, Edward Inskeep, Juanita Gray, Phyllis Sampson, Cleola Zimmerman, Colleen Holland, and Barbara Kersker On May 8 and 9 the senior play nThe Night was Darvu was presented by the cast, Gilbert L o n g, Cieola Zimmerman, Dewey Shaffer, Dean Nichols, Chestine Stashwick, Juanita Gray, Lorraine Longmeier, R o g e r Mowery, Joe Hunt, oe Cleaves, Shirley Aldrich, and Barbara Kersxer At the Baccalaureate and Com encement exercises, which were held on May 18 and 19, 1952, recognition was given to Edward Inskeep the valedictorian and the salutatarian, Lorraine Longmeier This, the largest class, to graduate, numbered S2 seniors. ,XR Ag 444g TJAAI Q QD c 735741 fd jmmfw' I . . . 0 . . - A , . , - .
