crooner and swooner, Dale Amstutz and Janet Stoner, innFor- ever Yellown lmodernized version of Forever Amberl produced by Mr. Kreglow and 'directed by Mr. Bixel. Where did Mr. Kreglew get all hismoney? Why--from a new seed which quick- ly sprouts into a thrashing machine within only three weeks time. ' , Heading towards Salt Lake City where that sinfing cow- boy, Elmer Bible, is proprietor of a Longhorn cattle ranch we approach Las Vegas. Approvimately three miles this side of Las Vegas we see the dazzling lights of a sign adver- tising the Fisher and Hall Nightclub. As Bill's hunger has caught up with him again, as it always does about every three or four minutes, we step into the hainbow Room where we see the proprietresses, Charlene Hall, and Libby Fisher. To our right we sec non other than, Jean Miller, checking hats upon hats. . At the end of our meal we find that the club is being raided by the police and Bill rushes towards the back en- trance where he finds Mrs. Cox cooking her favorite 'meal nChicken-Ah-La-CoX.u Her assistant, Betty Parks, is just taking an apple pie out of the oven which is burnt and we mean burnt. Leaving this club we journey on to Salt Lake City where we visit Elmer, who is just milking his cows. After a drink of his pure jersey milk we walk down the street to dear old Salt Lake City where we come to the famous Mormon Church whose pastor is Dan Reed. We find that Dan and his divine chorister, Dorothy Sterling, are holding an old-fashioned revival meeting. Bill looks over his list of old friends and finds that he has only one more person to see, the prin- cipal of his old school, Mr. Hager. Bill asks Dan of the whereabouts of Mr. Hager. Dan told Bill that the last time he had seen or heard of him, he was a middleqweight ,boxing champion in Mexico City. The three spiritual beings, Bill, Angel, and Satan quickly transform themselves through the super-natural waves of Mexico City. Here we see Mr. Hager poundinw away earnestly on his punching bag. We must soon leave, however, because of the terrific vibration. The journey complete, the three super-natural spirits glide through the either waves to the location ofBi11!s ghastly mishap. During ourjourney back we suddenly remember we have not written any of the answers to the question of Bill's hereafter. Therefore, Angel and Safan, not knowing what to do with Bill, they enter into an argument once more. Bill suggests that they let him live for gnnethnr 'twenty years or so. after a brief discussion the two spirits, be- coming disgusted, decide that this is the best way out. Thus Bi11's spirit enters back into his body just as the rescue party finds -the wreck. Soon, an ambulance carries him away to a hospital where he recovers rapidly.

THE May 15's And this BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE BEGINNING comin' round the bend A is the beginning of the end, At least of my long highschool years, And some of my sorrows and some of my fears. I'll read and write and study all night In order to pass the exams all right, And when I think I am just about done I remember a notebook I've barely begun. Consarn those notebooks, they're my chief gripe, To me they're nothin' but so much cheap trips. Maybe they help just a little bit, But they're mighty hard on my temper and wit. When commencement's over and I've won my glory That won't be the end of schooling story For I'll be going to college next fall Cause I guess school's not so bad, after all. Some would call these last few days The beginning of the end of their school boy's haze, But for me, oh brother, it's no such thing.-- It's merely the end of a long, long fling. --Calvin Early GRADUATION Graduation time is almost here, The seniors meet it with little fear. Proud to say, we reached the goal . For which we've worked with heart and soul. Some are going out as musicians Others will study to be physicians. A few girls go into training for nurses While some of our boys will drive the hearses. Regardless of what they choose for an occupation We know they'll better our nation To make it a better place One of equality for every race. But truly we'll miss LaFayette High, And everyone will leave with a sigh t We may go east, south, or west But we'll always return to the place we love the best --Mary Sterling
