Now we consider ourselves forty-two superior upperclassmen. Ve elected our officers. The results were:'Presldent, Bill Hall, Vice-President, James Bassett, Secretary, BettyRundiog Student Council Representative, Nolan Ybunkmang Reporter, Betty North. We elected our annual staff and they worked enthusiastically to produce it. nJumplng Jewelsu was the title of our play which was given March 28. Selecting the lnvitatlonsand the name cardswcre other perplexing problems. This year we had the great pleasure of being the honored guests of the Junior-Senior Banquet which was held May 5. Baccalaureate was held May ll, and Commencement, May 15. We had our fraduatlon pictures taken, October 25 and received them before Christmas. Everyone was well-pleased with them. Ten seniors had the privilege of attending the Honor Society Banquet this year. They are: James Basectt,' Calvin Early, Bill Hall, Joan Landes, Phyllis Lutz, Jean' Miller, 'Betty North, Veneta Ransbottom, Kenneth Schick, and NolanYbunkman. Those who withdrew this year are: Nadine Condon and Doris Goodwin. Those of our class who attended school atIaFayette the full twelve years were: Jackson pupils--ElizabethFisher, Betty Fleming, Esther Guthrie, Charlene Hall, Bill Hall, Cledith Long, Phyllis lutz, Theodore McCague, Richard Phil- lips, Janeta nansbottom, Kenneth Schick, Edward Stoodt,Nolan Xbunkman. Bath pupils--James Bassett, Bud Boop, Rodney Epp, Viola Gauss, Dick Kersker, Doris Klracofe, Joan Landes, Franklln Ruhlen, Janet Stoner, liary Jane Ward, and Harold Vermillion. The homeroom teachers for these gears were: Mr. Packer, hrs. Myers, Mrs. Klinger, and Miss Jump. Ve wish to extend our thanks for their patience and guidance duringthis most important time in our lives. Aboard a plane heading for the great HOrange Bowln in Miami, Florida is the greatest of all great football stars, the great half-back Bill Hall of the renown- ed Cleveland Browns. But wait! The motor sputters--and the plane starts to fall. Down! Down! Down into the stony Appa- lachian Mountains. Then the crash! And on the ground lays our hero--half-back B111 Hall., Immediately appears an Angel and the old horn-swaggled Satan, himself. These two unearthly creatures fall into an ungodly argument as to the status of the great Hall. To be above or to be below? That is thequestion. Finally,nmither Angel nor Satan making their point, they decide, after sug- gestions from our star half-back, to visit all the friends and earthly acquaintances that he had in his life before, Starting on our journey we find that even the super- natural beings crave to havoy their stomachs filled, so we visit a near-by store and who should we find but the prom- inent mcrchant and his wife, Theodore and Mary McCague, for- merly known as Miss Mary Sterling. n Having quenched our spiritual and physlcal'hungers, we ramble on to the city of New York where the great star of
