Y Student Senate B OB C OUR TNEY Student Body President This organization, the Student Senate, has been formed in order to assure closer relations between the faculty and the student, to. promote the general welfare of the school, to encourage sentiments of law and order, and to provide a forumfor the discussion of questions of interest to the school. Bob Courtney has proved to be one of the out- standing student body presidents in Lafayett's history, His energetic and humorous approach to his task and his abounding vitality have made him well-liked by the students and faculty. He has also shown his ability to handle a serious situationto deal effectively with the duties of his high office.
