Isadore Birnbaum's essay won second place in the Senior group of the city, while Norma Boyle's was given recognition in being forwarded to NVashington, D. C. In the second contest as to who should be a representative of the St. Joseph District at Maryville fApril 30-A May lj, Isadore Birnbaum's was ehosen, and given third place.
