The Elected Students Student Council Installs New Bicycle Rack lcontinuedl The closest to the students themselves, ot course, are the students they elect to serve them in the Student Council and as their class representatives. Sponsored by Mrs. Beeler and headed by David lvlucci, Carla Rodriguez, Penny Barker, and Janie Fergus, the Council, besides giving the traditional Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas tree, installed a new bicycle rack, remodeled the school sign and attempted New Education Week tor the Seniors. The class otticers took on their usual tasks. The Sophomore Class sold class pins and sponges as money-making projects. The Junior Class, along with the art classes, worked on decorations tor the Prom. The Senior Class prepared tor their graduation all year by spending money, on the ring dinner, invitations caps, gowns, and getting scholarships. No matter whether a person has the position ot President ot the United States or iust the chairman ot a small organization, his leadership is an important part ot the process ot making lite a little easier. - l 5 V .- ff ,eg .1 1 , ' .E .1 IA i z 0' Y lAbovel Sophomore Class otticers sell pins to I a tt e A G dd cassm tes.
