SHS Q N uni! '- Ai logy. tj-Igmeooming Ends Football Season School spirit was finally aroused for the Lafayette-Henry Clay game. Staging a mock funeral, the Key Club removed the body of a beaten Blue Devil from Center Hall, as uwi- down Sue Murphy wept and Gil Mitchell, the ttcountry parsonw, delivered a eulogy. Saturday night at Stoll Field, Susan Land- her attendants Sharon lsaacs and Susan Ham- mond Were introduced. The Generals and their fans seemed in high gear and ready for a promising contest. But fulfilling his reputation as All-American, Stan Forston led Henry Clay to a 31-O Win, dashing Lafayette's hopes for a 7-4 season, and sub- rum was crowned Homecoming Queen and duing' even the cheerleaders' enthusiasm. Y Enthusiastic cheerleaders burst through the hoop leading the football team down the symbolic aisle of victory. Susan Landrum, Susan Hammond, and Sharon Isaacs watch tensely as things look bad for team. . .1 Mary Bertram and Brenda Glass typi- fy the General outlook as homecoming ends and football season closes.
