wr , 0:1vf0 l Stoll Htl Homecoming - Challenge of Enthusiasm Homecoming inspired the challenge of enthusi- asm when the Ccnerals played their arch-rival Henry Clay. A rampart of Pep Club postcrs fortified the halls with school spirit, expressing hopes of victory and pleading for student support. Hang- . , ing in the center hall was a Blue K, Devil, as a sign of doom for Henry P Clay. K A roaring bonfire reflected the ' excitement on the students faces at the evening pep rally held on the practice field. Escorting the Homecoming Court to Stoll Field was a motorcade of decorated cars and students blowing horns and cheering for victory. Evidence of the iootball 1cam's enthusiasm was displayed as they ran onto the field through the aisle formed by the band bursting through a crepe paper hoop decorated with an L , to receive the student's cheers.
