The Library Opens the Doors to a World of Adventure Miss Lillian Gauthier Aff: fi JL..z'.f fic' MU it Q,fLffL,J Universities acrosg the country were asked what type of student makes the best college material. They overwhelmingly replied, Give us a student who can read. Once a student can read with under- standing, he can conquer any subject. The library at Lafayette High is well equipped for informative reading and pleasure reading. It is in this powerhouse of knowledge that the works of histo- rians, poets, scientists, novelists, and philosophers are stored. This wisdom bound in book form is available to any student who wishes to take advan- tage of the resources. The resourcefulness of the li- brary is due to the competent, well-trained staff, plus the collection, variety, and up-to-dateness of its literature. The realms of adventure, mystery, and discovery are open to any student, while the answers to in- triguing questions are waiting to be uncovered. gm...
