The long-awaited moment has come when we, the graduating class of 1960, will toss the tassels on our caps to the left. Now the time is here to step out of the familiar sights and sounds of Lafayette in which our lives have been involved for the past three or four years. We too will become a part of the past for our school when we leave, as we join all the other graduating classes before us. But though our farewells to Lafayette will be sad ones, I am sure, the challenge of the future awaits us beyond her doors. We hope and pray that with the help of God and the foundation of a good education, we will each succeed in our chosen field and be a credit to our family, our friends, our community and our country.
