Dear Graduates of '55, You are leaving your high school days behind you to go into different worlds. We shall miss you, but life is made up of a series of partings. Each of you will follow your individual plan. Some will go into higher fields of education while others will venture forth into the business world. We hope that each of you feels that his high school course has equipped him with the necessary tools to work in his chosen field. VVe hope, too, that you are armed with spiritual and moral valuesg with truth, love of God and neighbor, and sincerity of pur- pose. If you carry these within your hearts they will be reflected in your words and actions and so influence those whom you meet. Each of you can improve your own little world. It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. Let each man think himself an act of God His mind a thought. his life a breath of God: And let each try by great thoughts and good deeds.
