As a wonderful climax to our last foot- the team completed its third straight undefeated toot un saxophona, a pling a pling un violina-these heard the night of December 11, as the annual concert bagels, homogenized bagels. This was the war chant Man. Students may come and students may go, but Sol dominated the extra-curricular scene .... A look at the OKEAN, chairman of the Speakers Bureau, ANGELA GUI- the LAFAYETTE News, SHELA SOLOMON and MYRNA of The Legend, RENEE ENGLANDER, chairman of the Sing, THE STUDENT AND HIS FINANCIAL AFFAIRS What started out as a free education turned out to be a very expensive propo- sition. First there were the old stand-bys: the G.O., the Lafayette News, the Marquis and Regents books. That was all right, but then came presents for teachers, pictures, Prom tickets and jewelry. Being able to take no more, I had to rob the piggy bank to pay my Senior dues. Money is the root of all evil. ' A huge success was the Alumni Dance that was held in December .... STAN GROLL 8: CO. were giving LAFAYETTE basketball fans a real treat . . . Without their days at LAFAYETTE on February lst. . 800 strong remained, however, for their last fling THE STUDENT AND THE GRADUATION LAFAYETTE SENIOR THIS IS YOUR LIFE The Prom, Senior Day and Senior Show culminate the festivities that accompany this, your final term ..,. You leave, but the spotlight is shared by the departure of Dr. Oswald, who has guided LAFAY ETTE through its first 15 years .... And so with your diploma in one hand, and the future in the other, you say goodbye to four memorable years at LAFAYETTE HIGH SCHOOL Every adventure we have is only another Chapter in the Book of Life.
