Aaron I-'reilich AND THEY TAUGHT THE GEOMETRY OF EUCLID . . . the mathematics department, a staff ot wonderfully persevering teachers, led by mr. aaron ireilich, is indeed a favorite of the gods, who first blew hot the breath ot inspiration in young euclid's breast. We were most ably instructed in cabalic mys- teries ranging trom elementary algebra to solid geometry. SO THAT WE IN TURN MIGHT BUILD GREAT TEIVIPLES AND TEACH STILL MORE. THE STORY OF A GROWING WAS TOLD US . . . the social studies department, headed by charming alfred nuss- baum, made the study of a World's development intriguing. ancient mysteries Were unravelled before our very eyes and the folly of man's way was made clear. SO THAT WE MIGHT BETTER UNDERSTAND THE PRESENT AND BETTER SHAPE THE FUTURE. AND OUR IDEALS WERE UPLIFTED . . . the quest of man for beauty is as lasting as the human soul. vibrant john Walbach's very talented group has instilled a love of beauty in us. with their guidance, we have had the magic thrill of creating. with mr. louis pierro's cheerful guidance, budding musicians were nurtured. SO THAT WE MIGHT NOT BE BLINDED BY FALSE VALUES. WE LEARNED TO INTERPRET THE TONGUES 'OF OTHERS . . . mr. robert buda's foreign language department taught us to speak the languages of all nations. our recitations in latin, the romance languages, hebrew and german murmured ot a brother- hood and told us that all men are one. SO THAT WE MIGHT UNDERSTAND ALL PEOPLES. Alfred Nussbaum Robert Buda Ella Mackey Ioseph Shapiro

Max Pincus AND WE LOOKED TO THE WORDS OF THE WISE . . . speech is a symbolic expression of thought. the symbol of man's power over chaos is speech, and the ability to organize our thoughts was developed by mrs. ella mackey's speech depart- ment. writing is as true a form of language as speech. literature is the essence of man's search tor himself. with mr. joseph shapiro's department to guide us on a tour ot the realms ot man's ideals, we learned that the true measure ot man's Work is the content within. SO THAT WE IVIIGHT BE INSPIRED. AND WE EXERCISED OUR BODIES TO MAKE THEM FIT . . . not with words alone can man achieve the well trained attitude which a healthy body can render. the boys partook of the more violent of the games as their bod- ies were exercised and prepared tor lite's rigors under the guid- ance ot mr. max pincus. to tone their bodies, the girls led by smiling leolya reid limbered their muscles and engaged in the less strenuous sports. SO THAT OUR SOUND MINDS COULD FIND COMPLETENESS IN HEALTHY BODIES. AND WE TURNED TO THE MARKETS . . . the thoughts, ideals, and beliefs ot man must be translated into items ot daily use. the great markets ot the World are open to us due to the training We received from mr. harold baron's accounting department. mr. mark 1itton's secretarial studies department is indeed the handmaiden, not of commerce, but of man's progress. SO THAT WE MAY KNOW MORE OF THE MATERIAL. AND WE LEARNED THAT THE GOD S DO NOT RULE -OVER ALL . . . We reached an understanding ot truth when the phenomena that is life was made real to us by mr. joseph castka's physical sci- ences and shop department. AND THE MYSTERY BECAME EVEN GREATER. Leolya Reid Harold Baron Mark Litton lose ph Ccxstra
