GOLDBERG One of the favorite teachers of all students taking secretarial courses is Mrs. Lifton. The star she has set her future goal upon is to have her two daughters mature into fine young ladies. Every- one hopes to have at least three of their wishes become a reality. Mrs. Lifton,s are: world peace, health, and money adequate to enjoy lcisure time. Education need never end with a high school diploma,', is the advice Mrs. Lifton hopes we will remember. j . MR. GOLDSTEIN Ten Mr. Goldberg is an alumnus of the Savage School of Physical Education. His vast personal interests include sports, and the run- ning of a childrenfs camp. He hopes to achieve happiness for his children as well as others, and would like to travel with his family to various parts of the world. For the graduates he stated, I hope the senior class has realized the opportunities and training they have had in high school, so that they may be prepared for college, and, in later life, for being useful citizens. ff' f MRS. LIFTON ' We are proud of Mr. Goldstein, a top member of our science department. He is one of the teachers in Lafayette who thinks all his students are wonderful. He enjoys his work very much. He enjoys music. He plays the violin, clarinet, saxophone, and guitar. He is an expert repairman of radios and television and is also a good tennis and golf player. His advice to the seniors is that they should enjoy their own lives and be considerate of other people around them.

UAW SW!! A former native of Rye, N. Y., lVIiss Daly migrated to the big city. She attended the Savage School for Physical Education and later on received a B.S. and M.A. at N.Y.U. Even as a youngster in grade school, Miss Daly had visions of some day becoming a teacher. This term her teaching program consisted of both English and Physical Education. As a hobby, Miss Daly enjoys reading. Her advice to seniors is to follow the golden rule, '4Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. MR. DYCKE One of Lafayette's attractive teachers is Mrs. Greenfield. She attended New Utrecht High School and then went on to Hunter and City College. She is a teacher of stenography and typing and enjoys everyone of her classes. Sewing, knitting, and reading are her leisure time hobbies. Mrs. Greenfield, very contented with her life as it is, advises the seniors to continue their education. She feels every student should go to college. MISS DALY A native New Yorker, Mr. Dycke attended Evander Childs High School, and then continued his studies at Juilliard, C.C.N.Y., and Columbia University. As do the majority of the others in the teaching profession, Mr. Dycke also has a favorite type of student. There are those who are interested in some phase of the arts: painting, music, or photography. To all the members of the senior class he bequeaths his best wishes for a harmonious existence. 5 1 MRS. During those heavenly months of July and August we discover Mr. Rappaport as a summer resort owner. A graduate of Boys High School and C.C.N.Y., he has been teaching in Lafay- ette for thirteen years. At home he is the proud possessor of two dynamosl' fa son and daughterj. His journeying has taken him throughout the United States and he hopes someday to go abroad to Europe. His advice to the seniors is, Be optimistic in the face of adversity. Measure up to your responsibilities as a citizen in a democratic society. RAPPAPGRT A teacher of bookkeeping and business machines, Mrs. Palev- sky enjoys teaching only when the students are cooperative and well behaved. A graduate of N.Y.U., Mrs. Palevsky enjoys music and would some day like to travel. She advises the seniors to continue going to school, keep up with current events, and thereby make social contacts. MRS. PALEVSKY A graduate of C.C.N.Y. and Columbia, Mr. Santora's interest ' lg Qq. 1 -. in art doesn't end with his last art class, for it is his main interest y 535' A beyond the walls of Lafayette. Among the centers of his other A personal interests are his family, the tango, and track. His advice . f s Q to the seniors is, mln anything you do, give it your best.
