Little does he know that his wealth is being eyed by Benton Rubin, Angelo D'Amico and Larry Klein, the famous trio now singing on the show emceed by Marvin Diesenhouse. l hear a buzz of voices and see heads turning as Barbara and Lucille Gianet walk in. Everybody is trying to guess which twin has a Toni. Looking around l discover Sandy Shaw and Connie Lamia, who have been voted two of the ten best dressed people in the coun- try. l'm sure that Sandy had his tuxedo made at Stuart Davis' store, located on Fifth Avenue. The music of the overture fades into the sound of motors coming closer, and the picture of a rising curtain changes to that of a descending plane, The first to leave the TWA constellation, owned by Ronald Wolin fwho owns practically everything in New Yorkj is the pretty young stewardess, Madeline Noviello. Ioe Spadaro, our ambassador to England, receives a hearty Ameri- can welcome as he descends from the plane. With him is his personal secre- tary, Rosemarie Lo Proto. Back from a command performance for the Queen of England is the famed Ken Bromberg, winner of the Silver Skates. l-le is being helped by the famous bone specialist, Ronald Appel. There go two famous fashion models, Arlene Ragona and Ruth Meehan, looking very smart in their latest creations by the Well-known designer Elaine Kaufman. As l gaze at the procession, l see two handsome faces and recognize the newest Hollywood idols, Marty Klier and Ioel Nierenberg. The attention of the crowd is drawn overhead where a sky writing plane is announcing the opening of Ierry Hupert's television show. There's lerry getting off the plane now, and with him is Diane Seger, who is appearing on his show doing some of her famous dance numbers. Also appearing on his show will be the newly crowned Miss Rheingold, Gladys Werbelowitz. The plane has emptied and the pilot Iordan Friedman is taking off. l-le has the plane twenty feet in the air now-but wait, there's somebody coming out of the door. There are shouts of Open your parachute and as he lands safely, l see it is the famous comedien Marvin Bimbaum still doing anything for a laugh. As the plane flies behind a cloud and disappears from view, so do the faces in the ball. Slowly, it regains its normal size and color and l find myself back at the bowling alley and realize that there is much work to be done before these dreams come true.
