THE LAST ORD: As you read this page, the final duty of the Lancer's Legend Staff is com- plete. We have placed in your hands what we hope will be a memorable ac- count of the year's activities . For a yearbook staff to publish an annual it is necessary to secure the advice and cooperation of many experi- enced people. Our sincere thanks go to Mr. Crites . He offered a guiding hand many times when it was needed: to the American Yearbook Company for professional advice and unlimited co- operationg to Mr. Schultz of Photo Reflex Studio for his fine job of photography. My special thanks go to Punk Lowe, who was always willing to gather infor- mation, type copies, and help make de- cisions, as well as fulfill his many duties as photo editorg to Ralph Green, who served as my assistants to Bill Wisspre and Debby Tribble, who took care of the financial matters! to all others who pitched in at the last moment to help write and type copy . I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the members of the staff . My deepest thanks go to everyone for the many hours of hard work they gave, and for the sacrifices of grades and other activities which they made .
