,1 The Junior Class Play, The Circus Comes to Town, was given December 8, 1954. The story of this three act comedy is of Lelitia Culbertson and her daughters, the aristocrats of Centertown. Their ancestors were said to have come over on the Mayflower, but were in reality, circus performers. No one knows of their affiliation with the circus, and whn Lelitia is caught in a maze of lies, the laughable situations made everyone enjoy the play. The cast of characters are as follows: Lilitia--Eleanor Fonay Arleen--Dawn Pitchford Betty--Sylvia Swink Susy--Dorothy Blaine Tillie--Nancy Barrowman Lou--Denny Rush Frank--Kenneth Zaike Everett--Pat Waneka Jerry--Doug Dinnebeck Horace-- Moses Manzanares Mrs. Bothsford--Roberta Vallery La Belle--Laurel Mayfielfi Buck--Jerry Harrison faking Believe , y A semi-formal dance was given by the Juniors, November 24, in the high school auditorium. The fall festival theme was carried out with decorations of bright crepe paper and autumn leaves. Dave Merrifield's band provided music throughout the evening and featured a drum solo during intermission. Roberta Vallery sang, How High the Moon, and Gloria Martinez and Eddie Abeyta pantomined the record, Sing a Little Song . Lv t
