During his first decade in the highest position of his alma mater, he has guided Lafayette through one of the greatest periods of growth in her long history. Physical growth alone has not been the ideal of this great educator, growth in academic esteem as well has resulted from his untiring efforts. Constantly occupied in the realm of the Trustees, the alumni, and the friends of the college, our President is known and loved by the entire Lafayette family. Secluded in his second floor office in Pardee, his greatest difficulty lies in meeting the students and knowing them as individuals, yet any student who has experif enced the dignified congeniality of this gentleman is convinced that he has a true friend.
