The scene of this play is set in the spooky old mansion which Miss Rebecca Bolt inherited from her ec- centric brother. She immediately starts on the pursuit of her hobby, psychoanalysis, by turning her home into a sanitarium for patients with phobias and nervous diseases. The G'Nuts then began to pour in and many cries arose due to a patient's thinking he is a noted doctor and Miss Bolts mistaking the famous doctor for a patient. The cast was composed of the following jun- iors: Marilyn Woodward, Bob Hoopingarner, Sandra Glass, Gary Hall, Bob Carroll, Charles Johnson, Donna Gundy, Jackie Wisel, Beverly Evans, Tom Bradbury, Sherman Meshberger, Mary Lou Nahrwiold. and Ned Brickley. 1l --ss! .--5 r-1 Eidos . et? We hope it will help you re-live the pleasant memories of the 1955 school year at Lafayette Central. We wish to thank everyone who has helped to make this yearbook possible-our parents, teachers, friends, and those who have invested in this yearbook through advertising. Your summer supplement will be mailed to you by June or July. The extra pages will make it possible to include pictures of events happening in the school year which could not otherwise be included. These supplementary pages will provide pictures and accounts of many of our activities happening too late in the school year to be included in the yearbook proper. Some of these events to be covered are the following: Athletic Banquet, Junior-Senior Banquet, Senior Play, Senior Trip, and Graduation. We wish to thank everyone who has shown interest in our class and school by buying our book. It looks like Sherman Meshberger has something else on his mind, doesn't it? Herman Hammer may not he able to type sixty words a minute, but when Cleo Bermes had typewriter trouble, fix-it Herman T ll put his mechanical mind to work. O N. 7 i N ,4- Even though our school is small, we have a varied curriculum. Lan- guage and social study courses, most of which are required, have enroll- ments of ninety-five and sixty-one respectively. Speed and accuracy are well-worn words often heard by fifty-five stu- dents taking commercial courses. Because we are a farming commu- nity, and many parents work in Fort Wayne factories, forty-five pupils chose vocational classes. Science courses, including mathe- matics, biology, and chemistry were the choice of sixty-eight.
