Our class advisor was Mr. Closter. Our first activity was to elect our class officers who were: President Ula Wiltseg Vice-President, Bob Winng Secretary and Treasurer, Virginia Rienbeckg class reporters, Carol Harris and Irene Cosbey. During the year we gained Lyle and Janet Hoage, but later lost Roberts Mallabar, Lyle and Janet Hoage and Lillian Angel, leaving 23 students. We had two hayrides during that year with parties at the homes of Virginia Rienbeck and Carol Harris. Graduation night we proudly received our Junior High diplomas from Mrs. Tracy. Later we went to Dean Hutchinson's home for a party, thus ending our freshman year. At the beginning of our sophomore year there was an enrollment of 21 students. We gained Sylvia Spanks, who was from Switzerland, Miles Holder, David Dean, Gloria McQneer, Arthur Alton, Patrick Hamlin. Our advisor was Mrs. Phillips. We elected the class Vice-President, Bob Winng class reporters, Virginia During our sophomore officers who were: President, Dean Hutchinsong Secretary, Marilyn Kinney, Treasurer, Ula Wiltseg Hienbeck and James Fisher. year we started making money for our senior trip. We had two hayrides, a food sale, and a St. Valentine's Day dance. We also sold gladiolus bulbs very profitable. and cans of candy. All of these activities were 3 CLASS HISTORY CCon'tD During the year we lost Sylvia Spanks and David Dean. At the beginning of our junior year there was an enrollment of 27 students. Mr. Shaughnessy was our advisor. We again elected our class officers who were: President, Bob Winn, Vice-President, Dean Hutchinsong Secretary, Marilyn Kinneyg Treasurer, Ula Wiltseg class reporters, Virginia Rienbeck and Joel Getman. During this year we had two food sales, a paper drive and two dances, a Victory Dance and a St. Valentine's Dance. In March we put on our play, nRomantic Ricky,u from which we received many favorable comments. In the spring of 1958 the class took over the candy sales from the seniors. Also we published two editions of the LaFarge Review during that year. In our senior year, with Mr. Shaughnessy as our advisor, there were 27 seniors. Again we elected class officers who were: President, Ivan Stanton, Vice-President, James Fisher, Secretary, Marilyn Kinney, Treasurer, Ula Wiltseg and class reporters, Dean Hutchinson. During the fall of that year we elected our yearbook staff as follows: Editor, Virginia Rienbeckg Assistant Editor, Walter Paddockg Business Manager, Dean Hutchinson, Advertising Manager, Frances Matthewsg and typists, Carol Harris and Grace Sargent. In October the senior class put on their play, 'Stars In Their Eyes,n which was quite successful. Also we sold magazines, cards and stationery. We lost Larry Orvis, reducing the number of seniors to 26. We had three food sales, three dances and a special in January.
