He received his basic training at Parish Island, South Carolina and was stationed at Camp LeJune, North Carolina at the tire of his death. Dr. Fowkes, a long time resident of LaFargeville, a practicing phy- 6 and the Town of Orleans health officer for over SO sician for 3 years, ' L N years died on October lh, l95h. He was our school physician for many years and was a friend of everyone. 4
