BuT wiTh The Cards leading 3 games To 2 on The verge of winning iT all in The boTTom of The ninTh of game six, The infamous 'lcall was made. Don Denkenger called Jorge OrTa safe aT firsT on a play, which when viewed on slow-moTion, clearly shows OrTa arriving To The bag afTer The ball. The Royals wenT on To score Two runs and win The game, and The nexT nighT in a lopsided 42-0 vicTory, They won The World Series, 4 games To 3. Now in a new baseball season, ST.
