The first place Freshman float stands here in all its glory. Homecoming Wctory Tops Activities The Homecoming festivities began Friday night, Oct. 12, with the traditional pep rally. This included the introduction of the football Rams and performances by the cheerleaders and the Marching Rams. After the pep rally, students gath- ered outside for the bonhre. Bright and early Saturday morning, students tilled the south parking lot to put the finishing touches on their floats or cars. The judging took place at 10 a.m. by faculty members and the parade started at 10:30. The Freshman float came in hrst place followed by the Sophomore, Ju- nior, and Senior floats respectively. This marked the fourth wa.. year in a row that the Class of '85 's float came in last place. The French Club 's car came in Hrst followed by the Spanish Club's car. The Homecoming game was a mud bath. Despite the constant down pour, the Rams were victourious over the Eureka Mldcats. After a close first half the Rams came back and played perfect ball as they defeated the Mldcats by a score of 26-7. With their Homecoming victory, the Rams moved into the top ten in the state with a record of 7- 0. During the game, the Big BrothersfBig Sisters held their annual, great barbecue. T. The rain stopped in time for the Homecoming Dance, which was held Saturday evening in the school cafeteria. The cafeteria had been decorated by both the cheerleaders and the pom pon squads. Faculty members chaperoned for approximately two hundred couples who had come to hear the music of Langrehr. Door prizes were also given by mga MLA Kim Sokolik and Scott Stern enjoy the Homecoming Dance and each other. Three happy couples enjoy the Danceg Jodi Bernstein, Jennifer Row, Chris Suter, Josh Allen, Jenny Novak, and Andy Garvey. Dr. Newton Siegel. The Homecoming maids were freshman Gwenie Williams, sophomore Laura Spivack, and junior Becky Hargis. The Homecoming King and Queen were Andy Klearman and Janie Handelman. From the response of the students who attended the dance, it turned out a great success! Kathy Sewing and Jeff Stern smile for one last picture before they leave for the Dance.
