Varsity Team Sets Record The Girls' Varsity Field Hockey Team completed their season victoriously with a record of 12 wins and 3 ties. They set a record for Ladue by making 9 goals in one game. The team set another record by scoring 51 goals, which was the highest amount scored by any team in St. Louis for this year. The girls advanced to district finals and proceeded to go to quarter finals. The Junior Varsity Field Hockey Team had a record of 8 wins, 2 ties, and 1 loss. The teamates worked together well developing the skills needed to make a promising team for next year. 3 144 - Athletics

Girls' Tennis Team- FRONT ROW: Linda Sandler, Bar- bara Sisson, Barbara Greenberg, Debbie Glantz, Susie Levitt, Karin Blinder, Judy Kraus, Barbie Lickhalter, Sally Goldwasser, Susan Steinberg. BACK ROW: Tracy Marsh, Jill Salzman, Julie Green, Phyllis Eisen, Sally Sussman, Eve Learner, Maria Gomez, Lillian Lippman, Coach Mike Ramming. 146 Athletics L Girls' Tennis Team Takes State Championship The Girls' Tennis Team had an excellent season. They finished with a score of 12 wins out of 12 matches. A University City coach was quoted as saying I don't think anyone could beat Ladue this year. Those kids are devoted to tennis. More excitement was added to the season when the tennis team won the District Tournament and qualified six girls for the state competition. Those girls were Susie Levitt, Julie Green, Barb Greenberg, Sally Susman, Judy Kraus, and Karen Blinder. To top off the season, the team proceeded to take the Missouri State Tennis Championship, held at the University of Missouri at Columbia.
