132 - Athletics ' Basketball Rams Tower Gver Opponents The 1978-1979 Varsity Basketball Rams, under the direction of Coach Ramming and Coach Bruce, ran to another victorious season, posting a record of 15-13. This year's Rams proved to be one of the tallest teams in the history of the school. The average height of the team was an amazing 63 inches This size provided the necessary strength and rebounding that the team needed The leading scorers on the team were John McCurdy a 6 5 junior forward and Joel Tzm berg a 6 4 senior center They both averaged over 15 points per game Senior guard David Pearce lgmted the Ram offense averaging close to 8 assists a game Senior Morgan Fisher Rich Bramlett and junior Terry Moore also contributed to the Rams success at
