STUDENT CODE As students if Horton Watkins High School, we rdlect upon ourselves, our school and our communigl lyf our actions and attitudes. We feel that our school seal sets forth jour basic virtues which evepfone of us, as individuals, should exhibit. Thgf are Truth, Honor, Wisdom, and Friendship. There are two phases to our truthfulness. The frst is concerned with personal honesgz to ourselves. We jizce lm realisticalbz, never rationalizing. The second phase rj' our truthfulness has to do with our relations with others. These relations provide strong evidence Q' our sincerigf and strength if character. Others recognize our honor by our sportsmanship, respect far authorigf, and diligence in our school work and all extra-curricular activities. We have respect far school propergg we are honest in our school work,' and, above all, we uphold the reputation fy' the school. Our wisdom is manwsted in the methods we employ to uphold the laws rj' sociegf. It is exhibited in the high personal goals and excellent standards which we establish as the means by which we can contribute to our communigf. We are aware of the important part the wisdom M the individual plays in a democratic sociegf. One M the most important aspects fy' our high school lw is our relationship with others.
