PWM? When your fortune phrenologists read, They felt all the bumps on your head-- Which was tiresome and made you so weary That the happiest fortune seemed dreary. By cards, by handwriting, or trances, You may learn of your next circumstances. But the Juniors have a new method astounding That is every old system confounding. Did you know that the shape of your noses Your minds and your future discloses? Just to prove that our powers are ample We shall give you a wonderful sample. We glance thus at your faces all glowing, And straightway your future we're knowing. Betty Hart, a demon in commercial She'll marry Earl some day And settle down, She'll be a typical American housewife, And be content with her lover In any old town. Sandy Todd with her glowing red hair, Has a figure that the boys say is nextra fair,' A clerk in the drugstore she'll be, I'm told, But who will she settle for, Enny, Meeny or Moe. Sue Harris our busy yell leader, Full of pep and steam, We really need her, She'1l settle down some day as all girls do, Who'll be the luck guy, I wonder, don't you? Tommy Harshbarger, a dancer he'll be, He'll travel to Hollywood, here and there, He'll dance and dance all over the world, you see Because he'll be our second Fred Astaire. Red Hart, that roaming romeo Will some day settle down But his wife will have to watch him, For, he'll still flirt around. Mort Kimmel so bashful and shy Will be a beanpole till he dies But basketball he'll surely play For the Olympians or Lakers some day. Wallace Lewellyn, the fair haired one, Will stop playing baseball just for fun He'll sign with the Yanks or Sox some day, And show those boys how he can play. Junior Kenworthy, the intellectual genious, Will some day bring honor and fame to our school, For when he finishes N R O T C An admiral in the Navy he will be. Harley Barnard, Ladoga's track star, Clears all the hurdles and wins by far, Will marry Nellie and settle down And be a credit to our small town. Jane Smith, the bride-to-be, Is very much in love you see, She will make Joed a good wife, And then they'll live a happy life. Loretta Rose with her eyes of blue, Housework, she'll never do, But off to Hollywood she'll go, To sing and play in some big show. Anita Eldridge, the nurse of the class, Will, her lessons, forget at last, Then on to training she will go Which she'll be good at, we all know Rawley Radcliff, who drives us frantic, With his feats of driving, they sure are eredic, Will end up getting his license re- volked, If he doesn't stop scaring us poor folk. Carl Clark, the farmer of the class Will go to school to learn to farm, He'll pick fair Dorothy for his lass And settle down with kids and cows. Where the farm sun is warm and bright Dwells Betty Lou whose laugh is pure delight Tho' her voice is yet unknown to fame Still Freddie loves her just the same. With Dorothy's blue eyes beaming And her sunny smile She sends Carl dreaming all the while Ever grateful, ever true Thus we raise our song anew Hail, hail to old Purdue.
