PROPHECY Jerry Brennan with his wavy hair, Will soon be at the head of Virginia Dare. But he is the joy of the greenie class, And will probably snare a cute little lass. Jo Anne Brennan with her delicate ways, Will care for Bill the rest of her days She'll make him a perfect wife, And they'll both live an ideal life. Marilyn Brown with her classy airs, Will always long for Dorman's cares, But the piano is one of her joys, And she'll use this to toll on the boys. David Bryan, a Navy boy he will be, Soon he'll make French girls say We, We But his sweet Barbara will sit at home, While the wide blue sea Dave will roam. Wanda Cloncs with her high voice, Will probably be the opera's choice. She might be in The Barber of S evi1le But probably will land in Vaudeville. Who's as keen, . As Imogene, At rolling her eyes around? But she'll end up With a pot of luck, Obviously Hollywood bound. Phyllis Dickerson is Ladoga's cheerleader Fans have said We need her. Very good in speech she's been, And' we know she's Bob's queen. Everett Foster, the basketball player, Deserves credit layer upon layer. But no one has to have guesses, Who will receive Betty's caresses. Harry Griggs, the Lucky Strike, Has many girls within his sight. He'll spend his life looking for gold, Until the day he's gray and old. Betty Hubble, an intelligent girl, Certainly went through school in a whirl. She made many A's at a lively pace, But she'll win Everett without a race. Barbara Jeffries likes clothes silky and lacy, And probably will be a model at Macy. But with her bangs so sweet and alluring, All the boys will need a curing. Edna Maye, the ticket girl, Has a beautiful, long yellow curl. From private sources we have heard That she likes Alfred's beard. Laura Markey who's Oh, so shy, Has said to Ohio, Good-bye, Good-bye! We hope she'll be happy in our town, And find a guy and settle down. Dick McC laine. the demon of the class. Will always drive 50 miles too fast. Coming in three hours too late, Just to find out he's hit Da.d's gate. Barbara McK. so sweet and charmin', Has already begun her fame with Carmen. But we think she'll decide to marry: Will it be a Tom, Dick, or Harry? The senior boys are enraged, Because Frances is engaged. But they'1l calm down in a while, After glancing at her smile. We know so far, That it's La Marr For which the girls are screamin'. We also know, Under his chapeau, Of Cookie he's always dreamin'. Mary Jane Will never refrain, F rom having any fun. But she's the lass, In government class, Who gets her lessons done. Bob Powers, a jerk he is, At making sodas he's really a whiz. His poor bicycle, which is one of the best, We hope someday will get a rest. Jo Prosser, he's our little Einstein. But Norma says He's mine, all mine. A little genius he will be, Proposing to Norma upon his knee. Jim Reiter will be President of the U.S .A. In all the debates he'll have his say, Jack Hester Keeps him on the run, God pity the man who calls him son. Joan Rogers is a big girl now, Why not stand up and give us a bow. Her main interest is on the farm, Where Milford will certainly meet no harm

SENIOR HISTORY After eight struggling years through the grade school we at long last became Freshmen, Although the big assembly seemed strange at first. after our initiation by the Sophomores, we learned to take things in our stride. During the Sophomore Year a new ruling was made by the Principal! WE COULD NOT INITIATE THE FRESHMENV' That nearly broke our little hearts. Then came our Junior Year. Jo Anne Brennan was elected President and Mr. Neff, sponsor. Our Junior Play, PapaSays No, which was given on October Zl, 1947, with Mrs T he D etec tive ..... Rosemary Terry, Jo Anne B rennan We Juniors felt honored when the home-coming queen was chosen from our class, our own President, Miss Jo Anne B rennan. On April 23, 1948, we entertained the Seniors at the Junior and Senior Reception. At last in September 1948 we had reached the top of the ladder. Our Senior Year was a very active one in which we were busy all year thinking up money-making schemes to aid us on our Senior Trip. The following was a calendar of our Senior Activities. Rosemary Terry, the intellectual type, Will never mess with foolish trite. She will never marry, But will be an efficient secretary. Dick Williamson has charms, In Pat's arms, After a tourney game.
