USHER GUILD Mrs. Taylor is very proud of the Ushers Guild which she founded 9 years ago. It's 50 mem- bers have raised more than 3500. OO this year. Because of donations to Cancer Society, a canned food drive, Big Brothers, helping, Mr. Schlenk with a Penpal Drive, and other causes like the Jerry Lewis telethon Qin which the president, Lee Mitchell, will present a checkj, their money will run out by the end of the year. Despite their busy work schedule the Ushers Guild manages to take time out for themselves. On the 20th of February, 30 of their members went to Disneyland. Currently, they are planning their yearly trip to NBC studios. Pictured here are the Usher's Guilds out-standing students: President: Lee Mitchell, Vice President: Tricia Seco, Sec- retary: Robin Gardner, Treasurer: Cary Seldon. At Mr. C1ay's request, the S .P.E.A. R,S, , submitted an applicationto the Disneyland Community Service Award Program, for all the services they have done during the year. Some of these services include: making giant Christmas cards for the Hopi's, Operation Ptunpkin in which they took and carved 11 pumpkins, and gave them to convalescent homes, St. jude Hospital and to the senior citizens. They sold Fry Bread, and sent 5200. 00 to Hopi Day School f4th year J, in Arizona, so that they could have a yearbook of their own. The S.P.E.A. R. S. at- tended the football games , and sold popcorn and punch. They also had a First Aid Kit ready, which was used 3 times at the Nicholas game. The Class of '77 started the graduation walk. So as you know the S.P.E.A.R.S, , have done alot this year. ,.'l,A-, D. '
