The LHS class of '58 was holding their first reunion there I smiled as the port er took my luggage, for this would be a busman's holiday for I have been an airline hostess for the past two years. Boarding the plane, I saw Judy Smoker sitting with John Brust from Union Mills They told me they had just gotten married and were going on their honeymoon As I was looking out the window, I noticed a woman running frantically toward the plane Suddenly, I realized that it way my old school chum, Barbara French No, she hadn't changed much She took a seat beside me and we started talking about old times She said she had Iinally married Bill Bennett They had been married four years As we were talking, a sick passenger be hind us insisted on seeing the pilot We weren't paying too much attention until the pilot came out and who do you think it was but Jack Berkshire He had gone through with his am bition to be a com ercial pilot He said he and his wife were coming to the reunion Night was falling so we both decided to catch a wink of sleep We arrived in New York a little while later We were to the lounge we were surprised to find Pat Stuck We joined her lor some coffee and found out she was still single but was expecting an engagement ring in the near future She told us she was a private secretary to Darl Shreve, who was a prominent architect As I finished my cup of coffee, I was startled by screeching sirens coming from the vicinity of the airport I discovered that the Naval Admiral arrived and was to fly on the very same plane I caught a glimpse of him as he boarded the plane and was very much astonished when I saw it was Jerry Raderstorf I then boarded the plane and arrived in Paris in the morning I hailed a taxi to take me to the Hotel Parisienne A I climbed in I realized the driver was my old schoolmate, Gary Heinold He told me he was married to June Lichtwark I arrived at my destination and bid him farewell As I was entering the hotel I encountered the doorman, John Holmgren He told me he had become a doorman, for this was the only way he could forgetl In the hotel lobby, I passed Millies' Dress Shop and on a hunch I entered Sure enough it was my old southern? classmate, Mildred Bennett, now a well known designer She invited me to go with her to the Big Bulge Night Club where Pat Tesmer and Gene Goad were on their way to stardom as dancers While dining with her that evening, Glenn Pieifer and his wire visited our table The reunion was the next day so we all decided to call it a night The class reunion was a glorious one All attended Ron Florer came with three models clinging to his arms H was still single but now a millionaire after manulacturing the biggest and most valuable space satellite, Catnip Yes, indeed, the old class of '58 spirit had not died not at alll ELLA REZAC CLASS OF '58 14 , ag? me. change planes here for our flight to Paris.
