S. in just three more years CLASS PRGPHECY As we taxi through Ontario, we see there have been many advancements added during the ten years we 've been gone. We decide to stop in to buy The Ontario Trail Blazer, a newspaper that has been established in the last few years. As we enter the office, we are surprised to see John Lawrence behind the editor's desk dictating to his secretary, Rose Malphy. Maybe now we can learn the latest news about our old classmates of 1957. John shows us an old paper, and we see that Dannie Collins' and Earl Ferries' names make up the headlines as two of the Braves' leading players. In other issues we read that Donald Sheldon, a prosperous business man, has just retumed from Hawaii with his Hawaiian bride. Joie Skarda is a great car designer. His latest model is a Rooky Speedster, which is especially designed for small children. Roger Clements is his chief test driver. Allen Witt now owns and operates the Witt Chicken Hatchery. We find Juanita De Fliger is one of his employees. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Parish have just returned from their honeymoon in Texas. Mrs. Parish is the former Loretta Downing. They were surprised to see that Darrell Downing is a sheriff in Texas. He owes his success to the fact he is still a bachelor. ' We find Anita Powell is one of New York's leading hat designers. Her latest creation is the new Topsy Turvy Hats, guaranteed to drive any man crazy. Anita owes the success of her shop sales to her model, Joyce Witt. Larry Thomas and Mylan Ottum, two famous engineers, have just completed the largest bridge in the world, the famous Trans-Pacific Bridge which stretches across the Pacific Ocean. 1 Clifton Hoyt is a great scientist. We read he now has the position left vacant by Albert Einstein. Nora Rego and Joyce Nevin are employed in the Madison State Hospital as nurses. Larry Tunks, an assistant of Arthur Murray, was the creator of the famous dance, The Hold Me Tight Rock and Roll. Velma Winchell, who is a missionary, has just returned from a trip to Africa. Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Pfuhl and their two small children have just returned from a trip through the Western States. Mrs. Pfuhl is the former Marlene Cox. Roger Nofsinger now owns the Midnight Pavil1ion . Ernest Roberts is bringing him a fortune by his popular singing. People come from all over the country to hear Ernest sing Give Me More Beer and Pretzels . Jo Ann Martalock, who is now Mrs. Eldon Nofsinger, is working in the Hillsboro Bakery, which her husband owns. Wilbert Hutchens is a mechanic staff officer in the Air Force. Marjorie Wruck is now a famous beautician in Chicago. The last report was that she was dating Rock Hudson, the famous movie star. Our classmate, Betty Vitcenda, has just become rich after ten years. Her rich aunt in Arizona left her an estate. Professor Donnie Lee has just discovered a rocket fuel that will take our first ships into space. Carson Hatfield is a bartender at Turnover Springs, located two miles southwest of Ontario. We hear a large amount of his trade comes from the class of 1957. With a feeling of satisfaction, we pay for a subscription. We are sure we will be able to read The Ontario Trail Blazer and know what our classmates of 1957 are doing.
