4 PRESIDENT,S MESSAGE Within a short time many of us will end our formal education and go out into the world to seek our fortunes. Some will go on to college, join the armed forces, or seek jobs. Whatever it may be our actions will reflect our school and our instructors. They have given of their time to prepare us for a useful life and we are indebted to them. The only compensation that We can bestow on them for their tireless efforts in our behalf is by making our- selves useful citizens of our community and nation which will soon be in the hands of our generation. May we justify the faith our parents, teachers and community have placed in us. I hope this book will serve as a stimulant for your memory and a symbol of your many happy days at LI-IS.
