MRS. ANNE AUSTIN We who know her understand the hardships she undergoes in separating herself from this school. To try to lighten the burden, we, the Senior class of 1948, humbly and affectionately dedicate our yearbook to this woman who herself dedicated her life to edu- cation. Our token is small but it is given with an unwavering, true grati- tude for her outstanding qualities as teacher and friend. May its minuteness be supplemented by the faith in which it is tendered. Dedication There comes a time in the life of every educator when close bonds must be severed, relationships altered, and study rooms forgotten. Thus this year heralds the leaving of Mrs. Anne Austin, a friend and teacher here for many, fruitful years. Her two most splendid qualities-a quiet dignity and an internal warmth-gained for her not only the affection and respect of all students but also the admiration of the whole faculty. And grace that won who saw to wish her stay. -Iohn Milton
