SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Left to right-Margaret Ginnetti, Secretary, Michael Matusiclc, President, Dorothy Tomaszewslca, Vice- Presidentg Robert Balbierz, Treasurer. Class Histor Years hence, as we sweep onward through the deviating tides of life, eager to establish a position for ourselves in both the social and the business and professional worlds, we will ever pre- serve a place in our hearts for the school which laid the foundation for our futures - Lackawanna High School. Setting out into the world after commencement we will be in much the same position in which we found ourselves four years ago, when we first launched our high school careers. We will be confronted with problems very similar to those we encountered as inexperienced freshmen, adjust- ing ourselves to the rituals of high school life. In order to revive memories of these bygone days, let us retrace our steps and review the episodes of the past four years. Turning baclc the pages that record the passage of time, we find ourselves as humble fresh- men, anxious, yet fearful upon entering high school-a new phase of life. The tyro class is soon placed under the guidance of the upperclassmen, who do their utmost to dispel doubt and un- easiness. Through them, we learn to acquire new friends, new tastes, and to adjust ourselves to the fascinating, unfamiliar conditions in which we are placed. The Camera Club dances become very important factors in combating the shyness of us frosh, and in introducing us to the school's social life.
