They go right past the homes of over 8595 of the students. Mechanical and opera- tional charts are kept on each bus and they are given a mechanical check-up each morning and 411' ilimm pug washed and greased as necessary. Safety is the primary keynote of the local bus system. It takes most of the summer vacation to route the busses so that they will pick up equal loads, travel equal distance, and all arrive at L.C.C.H.S. be- tween 8:0O and 8:10 a.m. n x gr..

LEWIS CRANOR S MAINTENANCE THE MEN WHO KEEP OUR SCHOOL IN BEST CONDITION Maybe you thought that all our cus- todians do is sweep hall and rooms. I am afraid you are mistaken because they do just about everything that is to be done. For example they, wash windows, empty trash, dust furniture, take care of the heating, and change all burned out light fixtures, including those in the auditorium, they make all the necessary repairs such as broken desks, chairs, and windows. They keep the restrooms supplied with paper and soap.
