I also want to commend the entire Faculty and Student Body for providing excellent material for, publication. In my estimation the Annual is to depict activities of the LaVernia Public Schools. This requires considerable planning and a great responsibility on the Senior class, who is given this task. Surely the experiences received here by the Staff will be very valuable in the future. I encourage the Seniors to continue their formal education after graduation if at all possible. If formal education is not possible, I urge you to take advantage of every opportunity to gain as much knowledge as possible. The pattern that this growth follows is very important. To grow mentally a stu- dent must start early in his school career to make each day count toward a forward step on the ladder of life. Each year is so important. For this reason each student should establish good study habits in order to complete as he or she should. For if you fail to complete your work one year, the next year is hard for you. You are behind where you should be. This forces you and your teacher to do extra work. So start in the first grade and give the first step on the ladder a .saw good foundation. Then complete a step each year.
