The annual carnival was held at the LaVernia High School on October 30-31. On Friday night the carnival got under way, and representatives were elected from each class. Those of the Freshman Class were Julia Wyrwich and Ewald Rakowitzg Sophomore Class, Shirley Allen and Harold Schroeder, Junior Class, Doris Corn and Duane Booth who were Prince and Prin- cess. King and Queen of the Royal Court of Halloween were Mary Lou Anderson and Allen Kosub of the Senior Class. The color scheme carried out in the Court of Halloween was pale orange which was dancing with ghosts, goblins, witches, bats, pumpkins and cats. The color scheme and pictures of Halloween were beautiful and blended with the gowns of the representatives which were of various colors. Each class participated in the carnival. The Freshman Class brought in a total of 39.205 the Sophomore Class313,00 The Junior Class sponsored the cat stand and made 355.35. The Senior Class sponsored the soda water both nights and made a total of'355.A5. TheP.T.A. sponsored the Mexican supper which was served both nights. Long rememberance will be held of the year's carnival by those who attended. It turned out to be a great success. .ul Q KQ Y r'
