The annual princess initiation was held a little different this year. The initiation was headed by ASB Commissioner of Athletics, David lVlares and included Patti Towle, Karen Lai, and Bill Poss. The princesses Carol Groom, Michele Nagle, Kim Price, Bobi Sparks and Heid Wunderlich were kidnapped from their homes on Nlonday morning and taken to various places including WinchelI's where they were instructed to eat their whipped cream topped donuts without their hands, blindfolded. Then, they were taken to La Sierra where they were made up for the student body. Their hair received a treatment of lemon and chocolate pudding and whipped cream with blue feathers to make them most attractive and appealing to the student body. Their initiation continued throughout the day and included a bit more at lunch time. The princesses enjoyed their initiation but vowed to get revenge, which they did when it came their turn to initiate the Basketball Homecoming King nominees. 14
