The California Scholarship Federation is primarily for the academically talented student. The student must apply for membership each semester and earn ten CSF points. To do this requires a minimum of 3 A's and 1 B not counting P.E. CSF promotes scholarship and school service. Varsity Club The Varsity Club is open to any boy who earns his varsity letter in any one of the interscholastic sports programs. Its primary purpose is to promote the wrestling program at LSHS. They conducted several fund raising projects this year. One of them was the sale of the stocking caps. The Wrestlerettes are a new group on campus this year. The members of this group assist in putting on the wrestling matches and keeping of stats of the matches. They also help the wrestling club in their fund raising activities. 105

These students serve at General Hospital. They are learning new skills and are happier because of the contributions they are making to the welfare of others. Fi I1 Club The Fish Club is one of the busiest clubs on campus with meetings every Tuesday and bible study every Thursday. They encourage good Christian behavior on campus and invite you to join them. 107
