GARY HANSEN TOM GOOLD L.S. 6 Elk Grove 6 Well, it’s our first league game, so let's go! With these words, the Longhorn gridders took to the field against Elk Grove. The Longhorns showed their usual great de- fense, but couldn’t seem to get an effective offense going until the last quarter, only to have their last ditch touch- down attempt fall short. It was a valiant effort, and by all rights the L.S. men should have won. La Sierra says, Wait until next year.” Hayden Reels Off Long Run Against Elk Grove DICK HAYDEN DICK KOCH
