THE ROUNDUP Through our cover, layouts, and art designs, we have tried to bring a feeling of the Old West into your yearbook in keeping with the school's traditions. Much time and effort has gone into the producing of this yearbook for your enjoyment. Both major and minor problems arose but were adequately dealt with by the staff. A book is only pages between two covers, but our Roundup” is filled with events, places, and friends that we want to remember forever. It is hoped that everyone enjoys the yearbook and, on looking back at it, will remember those precious days of yesterday (or as they will come to be known by us all, the good ole’ days) as the best ever. THE BRANDING IRON One- word, ''Pandemonium,'’ described the daily happenings in L-3. As the mail must go through, so must the school newspaper. The Branding Iron Staff is constantly digging up news for articles, features, and columns. Above the clicking of typewriters, flashing of flashbulbs, and well . . . confusion, the busy editors can be seen putting pictures here and stories there to complete the newspaper. The Branding Iron is as important as the classroom books, for it informs the students of the school happenings— things to come or things that have happened. The Branding Iron has survived through the confusion of this year, and it will be here many, many more. The Staff BARBARA CORBETT CAROLYN WEBB ELIDA HOMER MRS.
