ASLLU Cabihd The 1971-72 ASLLU Cabinet played a major role in the development of several programs new to the La Sierra campus. College Bowl caught on with a number of students and plans are being made to continue this kind of intellectual competition next year. For the first time, a voter registration drive took place on campus, largely motivated by the relaxed laws permitting 18-year-olds to vote at their campus residence addresses. An experimental exchange program between La Sierra and Pacific Union College offered the opportunity for students from each campus to continue their academic programs on the other institution's campus for one quarter. Also stressing the idea of unity between the La Sierra and PUC campuses was the joint Bible Conference held midway between the two schools at Camp Wawona. The Cabinet found areas on campus where changes were needed, and other areas in which the stu- dent representatives were invited to speak out. At the suggestion of Cabinet officers, and with the help of surveys, a number of small improvements were achieved in the area of Food Service. Policies regarding evening worships for women were studied with the women's residence hall deans, with the result that women are now offered a 9:50 p.m. worship on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Student body officers voiced their ideas about the University to members of the committee for the purpose of accreditation. Officers took a definite interest in discussing the TAC project with members of the Alumni Association, outlining their ideas about the proposed gymnasium-complex planned for this campus. J: ..
