Preface Here is a picture of La Sierra College. It is like one we would prop up on a dresser, or an old friend. To the stranger it is an unfamiliar face gathering dustg it is worth a moment of curiosity, an idle question or two, and no more. But for us its two dimensions are a door that opens to part of the mind a labyrinth of corridors that we and memory wander together. We can spend hours there, dreaming backwards.

We turn pages, like opening doors to rooms in this mansion of the mind. The rooms are warmed with laughter and crackling fireplaces, and voices, and songs, and faces. All kinds of faces HIC are steady reflection strangely they have gone And the many faces of these college years are but different expressions of a single face - La Sierra College. The 1967 METEOR is the portrait of a face.
