Imagine fhe freezing sfrafosphere high over Berlin-an exploding submarine ouf of Tokyo harbor. Feel fhe resfless roll of fwo greaf oceans fhaf fie home shores fo faraway lands. To all fhese places and more, fhe half a fhousand men and women from La Sierra have marched ouf fo do and somefimes die. The noble parfs fhey so grandly play bring beffer honors fhan any we mighf give. Gallanf deeds speak a language all fheir own. Purple Hearfs and Silver Sfars are fheirs who counf a liff fo fhe fallen fhe supreme good. Our hearfs go ouf fo fhese our friends and comrades of ofher days. We know an all-seeing eye keeps wafch over each. Never a word or a deed of fheir faifhful wifness for fhis faifh escapes His nofice. We pray 'rhey may come back who now are facing fhe frial and sform of baffle.
